The Saga Continues
Ah, behold, the elusive second post.
So yes, Blogathon stuff has been… challenging. Without going into too much detail, it looks as though staff stuff is shifting behind scenes, causing a little turbulence. Fortunately, it turns out that on my Livejournal friends list were the most wonderful fabulous people in existence, Amy of Ywing.net and Jennifer of Bajada.net, and the former offered hosting and the latter, to code our backend. They are both mature, intelligent, extraordinarily capable women, so I feel that at last Blogathon will proceed without fail.
Granted, sign-ups won’t be up until… two weeks before the event (by the 20th), and things are still a little shaky, but the event will proceed as planned. It’s almost enough to make a person religious. Almost.
In other news, the trip to Russia was… a bust. Alas, more on that later.

The criticisms of my students would serve as a good warning to visitors of Seeworthy: she talks too fast, she's too hard on us, she assigns too much work, and you have to be a dyke to get a good grade.
In other words, I'm a big, fat, queer, feminist meanie, and I am totally out to get you. Graaagh!
