Labor of Love
In one of our many server moves, Colleen’s installation of MT went wonky and died, leaving her with just a static archive of all of her posts from February of ‘04. We never had the ambition to convert them when we migrated servers most recently and installed Wordpress last year, so they’ve just been sitting around on the server taking up space.
But today, so that when she does Blogathon this summer she won’t have to start with an empty weblog, I’m transferring all 177 of the files. I’m at 92 now, but then I started in the low 60’s. So it’ll be a long day, but at least (hopefully) when she gets out of work tonight, her site will finally be back up and she’ll have all of her old entries.
God, I’m such a good wife. Blasphemous, maybe, but good.

The criticisms of my students would serve as a good warning to visitors of Seeworthy: she talks too fast, she's too hard on us, she assigns too much work, and you have to be a dyke to get a good grade.
In other words, I'm a big, fat, queer, feminist meanie, and I am totally out to get you. Graaagh!
i’ve had to do the same thing for my hostee so you have my sympathy/empathy (whichever one applies here).
thanks! i’m done now, but it was definitely a… new experience. :/
