The Dreidel Song
Frankly, I’m a little embarrassed, but my partner in crime and I recorded the Dreidel song (you know, “Oh Dreidel Dreidel! something something something those are the only words people know?) for Citizen of the Month’s holiday concert, which I believe will be posted tomorrow. I’m too bashful to post the song here, but if you head over there and listen, you can see why every a cappella group I auditioned for in my undergrad (all four!) rejected me. Clearly, they just couldn’t appreciate my, er, talents.
Speaking of talents, check out the Russian Chanukah photo over at Neil’s blog. That, my friends, is how to celebrate the holiday.

The criticisms of my students would serve as a good warning to visitors of Seeworthy: she talks too fast, she's too hard on us, she assigns too much work, and you have to be a dyke to get a good grade.
In other words, I'm a big, fat, queer, feminist meanie, and I am totally out to get you. Graaagh!
Oh Dreidel Dreidel Dreidel, I made you out of clay, and when it’s good and ready, dreidel I shall play!
That’s all I know. We used to sing it in grade school all the time and I really enjoyed the song.
