Coming to a bookstore near you. But not really.
One of my professors emailed me with good news this morning: the March 2007 issue of Psychology of Women Quarterly was out, and she left a copy in the grad student mailbox for me.

In case you didn’t catch the, erm, subtle hint, my first anything was published; a book review with another student and a professor in the department. Granted, I was only second author, but it’s still amazing to see my name in print. Sniff. Grandma would be so proud.
The title of the article, for anyone interested (because, of course, I know everyone has a subscription to Psychology of Women Quarterly… I mean, come on, essential reading), is “Lesbians and Sexual Risk: An Oxymoron?” and no, the sexual risk is not lesbian bed death. At least, not in this article. Snap!

The criticisms of my students would serve as a good warning to visitors of Seeworthy: she talks too fast, she's too hard on us, she assigns too much work, and you have to be a dyke to get a good grade.
In other words, I'm a big, fat, queer, feminist meanie, and I am totally out to get you. Graaagh!

Thank you all! I have to admit, I did squee a little when I saw it first… and it’s crazy to be able to go on ProQuest or Ebsco and search for myself and find something authored by me. More squee!
