Level 21: Agent Scarecrow #1
Last year we reviewed two games by Johnny B., Jack French and Jack French 2, both sleuth games. The creator came out with a new game a couple of months ago, titled Agent Scarecrow #1. Of course, we had to review it again. Behold, the profundity:

The game opens with “average guy” (I’ll call him this because I missed the entire back story) walking into his boyfriend’s friend’s apartment and looking around. “Weird, there are red stains in the sink. I think I’ll hang around a while and poke through his stuff,” thinks AG. Smart!

Suddenly, after searching through everything AG could find, he gets a message on his phone from his friend. Average Guy! Stop snooping through my things and get the hell out of there! But of course, AG doesn’t listen.

Some burly men then enter the room, and you’re given some options, which inevitably end with “Run away!” being the only option left. So I ran. And I ended up shot to death and tied in a chair, apparently.
If I could devote more time to it, I think it’d actually be an interesting game. Neat audio, amusing dialogue and pretty sweet graphics.

The criticisms of my students would serve as a good warning to visitors of Seeworthy: she talks too fast, she's too hard on us, she assigns too much work, and you have to be a dyke to get a good grade.
In other words, I'm a big, fat, queer, feminist meanie, and I am totally out to get you. Graaagh!
