Ever since the fateful day that I posted about Beth Ditto’s nude shoot for NME, I’ve been getting some… interesting hits from Google. I thought I’d highlight some of the more amusing and… interesting ones:

• dumbledore being gay - And no, I didn’t think it was such a great thing.
• find arrested person in el cajon - only if you’re looking for sex workers, apparently.
• beth ditto nude/beth ditto naked/beth ditto COMPLETELY nude - I’m gonna assume it’s all queer fat feminists searching for this, and not people looking for the pronz. Though, I mean, if progressive pronz is what you’re into, I’d suggest trying here.
• naafa sex at conventions - Not even gonna touch that one.
• california’s worst cities - While I haven’t taken a formal survey, I’d certainly put San Diego (and with it, El Cajon) in the top 2.

Tragically, I’m not getting a lot of hits for “fat feminist” or “people guaranteed to get into their top choice PhD program” or “best instructor evar.” And hey, speaking of best instructor evar, my class on sex work last Thursday was pretty awesome. How many times do you get to show the pronz to your students? Even if it is just the tame, no-nipple sample stuff, I still got a kick out of trying to explain the philosophy behind VegPorn. It’s great when my students just chill and listen to a lecture, but my favorite classes are the ones where folks actually get fired up about the readings. That’s what it’s all about, yo.

…Which I guess is my way of saying that I’ve failed spectacularly at NaBloPoMo, but it doesn’t seem so grim when some other things are equally (inversely?) rad.
