Yeah… about that…
It’s been the winter break, and I’ve never really needed a break as bad as I did this January. After my first semester of teaching, PhD-applying and thesis-writing, I have been burnt out. Fortunately, I had a pretty adventurous trip back to Connecticut with C last week, an … interesting holiday season and a pretty visceral reaction to that Queer Guy’s new show.
So I’ll be back next week. XOXO and all that.

The criticisms of my students would serve as a good warning to visitors of Seeworthy: she talks too fast, she's too hard on us, she assigns too much work, and you have to be a dyke to get a good grade.

I’m curious about this visceral reaction? Was it to the previews or the actual show?
The previews I thought were terrible and looked like the show would be degrading and horrible. But then the show…I’m still not sure what I think. Other than it was nothing like the previews suggested.
