The criticisms of my students would serve as a good warning to visitors of Seeworthy: she talks too fast, she's too hard on us, she assigns too much work, and you have to be a dyke to get a good grade.

After visiting a couple of PhD programs last weekend, I’m pretty well certain that the only people who will ever read this monster are me, my thesis committee, and the person checking it for formatting. I tried to pawn it off on C as “a thrilling read!” and “one of the best literary and scholarly achievements of our generation” but she pretty much just laughed at me.
Ah well.
I have been known to browse the dissertation database at my school library for fun, so I would probably be up for reading it.
But when you think about how many pictures that actually is . . . it may be getting a little shorted.
I guess I did sort of laugh at you, but of course I plan on reading it!
