Calling all Massachusetts Fatties!
Remember that bill I talked about way back in March of 2007 that would outlaw discrimination based on size in Massachusetts? Well, it is finally gaining momentum: there’ll be a hearing on March 25th at the State House in Boston!
For those who want to get involved, head over to Kate’s site for the details on who to contact and where to show up. Here’s our chance to have policy implemented in a whopping two (sigh) states!

The criticisms of my students would serve as a good warning to visitors of Seeworthy: she talks too fast, she's too hard on us, she assigns too much work, and you have to be a dyke to get a good grade.
In other words, I'm a big, fat, queer, feminist meanie, and I am totally out to get you. Graaagh!
Two states is a good start! It sets a legal precedent that others can use to fight against fat discrimination in their state.

Let’s not forget that short people (especially men) suffer from the same kind of insults that the overweight do…I know I have. This is a height/wieght bill!
